The Books of Liryos comprise the epic fairy tale of Khajj Istarii. The trilogy encompasses her mythic journey, from an orphaned girl to her destined glory. Over the course of the saga, Khajj encounters dark secrets, powerful daemons, and Love in all of its guises.
Desperate to save her possessed cousin, Khajj agrees to a contract with the Daemon Lord Ama’antharon. Thus begins an erotic legend that exposes the perils of dealing with daemons in the Dream. Caught in a surreal realm of dangerous plots, decadent sex and overwhelming odds, Khajj is tested in every way. A mortal amidst daemons, Khajj must use all her wiles and wits if she is to be reunited with her family.
The Second Book of Liryos, recounts Khajj’s struggle to adjust to life in Liryos. Thrust to the forefront of the politics of the Dream, Khajj must quickly master her new position and skills if she is to survive. All while juggling the attentions of three formidable lovers.
The Third Book of Liryos is where the tantalizing threads revealed in the first two Books are woven into a climactic tapestry. In Throne of Ashes Khajj finally realizes her true destiny, but is it too late? Will a life borne of tragedy, end in tragedy?
Inspired by Khajj’s journey, Sepulcher Studios brings you thirteen musical tracks of pure decadent darkness.
